Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English Language and Maths. Or a relevant BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Health and Social Care at Merit or above .
Candidates are invited to attend an informal interview and provide a reference.

Objective

This course will introduce you to the health and social care field. This programme provides the underpinning knowledge required to progress on to further study within the Health Care sector

Assessment

Throughout the course, you will learn by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. There are 2 mandatory exams that must be passed to complete the Level 2 course.

Progression

After successful completion of the course you may progress to a higher level qualification at College such as a level 3 qualification.

Career Progression

After the course you could seek care-related work.

Fees

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over fees may be payable.
