Entry Requirements
- Three GCSEs at grade 2 or above, including English language and maths
- Two positive references.
How You Will Be Assessed
You will be internally assessed by a range of methods. This could include tasks such as planners, posters, leaflets, presentations, practical or written assignments.
You will be graded at pass, merit or distinction for each unit, which have their own individual learning outcomes. You will need to pass all 10 units to successfully achieve this qualification.
Course Progression
Successful completion of the programme could support you to progress to Level 2 study within Health and Social Care.
Where Your Course Can Take You
This qualification will support you in preparing for your next steps either in training or moving towards work within the care sector in roles such as a nurse, midwife, social worker, healthcare assistant, SEN teaching assistant, occupational therapist or counsellor.
Fees
If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over fees may be payable.
