Summary
Essential Digital Skills Qualification is a part time course for students over 19 years old. We offer 12-week courses in both Entry Level 3 and Level 1 Essential Digital Skills qualifications, all of which are designed to help students develop their basic digital skills using real-life situations, including using devices, communicating, transactions and being safe online. The course is offered on an evening basis and the classes are usually 3 hours long with some additional online content each week. Courses start in September, January and April.
Entry Requirements
Students will be required to take an initial assessment to assess their prior knowledge and digital skills, students will then be placed on the appropriate course level.
Assessment
Assessments are online at the end of the 10-week course.
Progression
Entry Level 3 students often progress to Level 1. Following successful achievement learners may wish to further develop their understanding and skills and progress onto digital qualifications at a higher level, such as one of the Access to HE courses or complete one of our other 19+ courses offered at CCN.
