What You Will Study

This course offers a comprehensive understanding of the health and social care sector, giving you the underpinning knowledge and skills to progress within this industry.

Entry Requirements

  • You will need to achieve five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English language and maths.
  • Satisfactory completion of written taster day activities.
  • Provide two positive references.
  • Successful completion of a Disclosure Baring Service (DBS) check.

How You Will Be Assessed

Assessment is through a variety of methods, which include exams, controlled assessments, assignments, case studies and course work. You will also keep a log of your experience on placement and your personal development. This qualification will include both internal and external assessment methods.
