Thinking about studying A Levels? Our A Level Taster Day is the perfect opportunity to experience life as a sixth form student and explore the subjects that could shape your future.
Book your place for the City College Norwich Sixth Form Taster Day on Saturday 28th November from 9am to 1pm. Join us for a day of interactive lessons, meet our expert teachers, and get a taste of the exciting opportunities that A Level study can offer. Whether you already know which subjects you're passionate about or you're still considering your options, this event will help you make informed choices about your next steps.
Our Taster Day is open to Year 11 students considering their options after GCSEs and looking to submit an application for September 2027. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a feel for what’s ahead!
How do I sign up?
Complete our A Level Taster Day one form to be added to our event list - more details will then be sent to you closer to the event!
What will the day involve?
- Four interactive sessions (40 minutes each) across a range of A Level subjects
- Choose at least three subjects and up to four to match your interests
Schedule for the day:
- Arrive by 9am at City College Norwich Main Reception
- 9.15am – Welcome
- 9.25am – Introduction to A Levels
- 9.30am – 10.10am – Session 1
- 10.20am – 11am – Session 2
- 11.10am - 11.50am – Session 3
- 12pm –12.40pm – Session 4
Additional information
- Parents/carers will not be able to join the lessons
- Visitor parking will be available in the staff car park, although spaces cannot be guaranteed
- We will allocate your chosen subjects where possible (session order may vary). Your timetable will be sent before or on the day of the event.
