What You Will Study
Our Skills Bootcamp in Project Management has been developed in partnership with WSP, a leading global engineering and professional services firm with a strong regional presence. This intensive course is ideal for those looking to build both confidence and competence in managing real-world projects.
With project delivery becoming a core part of many roles, there has never been a better time to learn how to plan, lead and deliver successful projects. This course introduces the essential tools, techniques and leadership skills needed to manage projects effectively, on time and within budget.
Through hands-on simulations, role plays and collaborative exercises, you will gain practical experience in a supportive environment. The course is designed to make project management accessible and engaging, even for those with limited or no prior experience.
You will cover:
- Introduction to Project Management
- Planning a Project
- Risk, Budget and Resource Management
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Project Tools and Technology
- Project Review and Evaluation
- Leadership and Team Dynamics
- Project Stimulation - Delivery Phase
- Course Review and Progression Planning
This course will run on Fridays, from 9.30am to 4pm, from 11th of September to the 13th of November 2026.
Entry Requirements
You must be aged 19+, and have the right to work in the UK/have a National Insurance number. You must not be enrolled on other funded training such as an apprenticeship, higher education, kick-start or re-start programme.
You need to be a current resident in Norfolk or Suffolk, have lived in the UK/EU for at least three years, or have the right to live and work in the UK.
You additionally need to have a good level of English.
Course Progression
By the end of the course, learners will:
- Understand how to plan and structure a project using industry-standard tools
- Monitor and control project progress, including managing risks and timelines
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
- Evaluate project performance using structured review techniques
- Deliver a simulated real-world project from start to finish
Fees
This course is free for learners age 19+. Please check the entry criteria.
For employers wishing to put employees on the course - if you have 249 employees or less you will pay 10% of the overall cost which equates to £183 per employee.
