What You Will Study
This qualification will help give you the skills and knowledge to investigate the accidental and malicious security threats that exist to IT systems and data.
You will learn about system vulnerabilities and the tools and techniques used to protect users from risks and potential damage, including loss of data, loss of data integrity and unauthorised access to data. You will develop an understanding on cyber crime and the risks and effects it has on individuals and organisations.
The course will run for 10 weeks, on Tuesdays from 6-9pm.

How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence which you will complete during your course.
Course Progression
On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the Cybersecurity Award Level 2.
