Festive Photographic Light Painting

What You Will Study

Explore the creative possibilities of long exposure photography in this practical, hands-on workshop. Suitable for all experience levels, this course will introduce you to using manual camera settings and slow shutter speeds to create striking festive light painting images. It's the perfect course for this year’s Christmas cards, displays or decorations.

You will learn the basics of the exposure triangle and put your new skills into practice by experimenting with light, movement and long exposures. These techniques can also be applied to a wide range of photographic styles, including landscapes, astrophotography and abstract art.

By the end of the workshop you will have a better understanding of shooting in manual mode, and the confidence to create your own long exposure images to use in your festive projects.
