Summary
These short evening classes will give you comprehensive grounding in painting, covering fundamental principles such as colour, exploring palettes, mark-making and different mediums. You will work on class activities designed to tackle each skill and at the end of the course you will work on your own painting project. These painting classes are a must for anyone who wants to develop their confidence with painting.
Course structure
- Week 1 - Colour mixing and planning a painting (acrylics)
- Week 2 - Working with colour palettes
- Week 3 - Mark-making with paint
- Week 4 - Watercolour washes
- Week 5 - Oils - layering and taking away
- Week 6 - Own Project
**Course Time: 6.00pm to 8.30pm
Please note that courses may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met. Please be aware that if you are no longer able to attend your course you will be offered an alternative date where possible, however no refunds are available unless this course is cancelled by City College Norwich.
