Congratulations to all our students receiving results for A Levels, T Levels and vocational qualifications!

City College Norwich students have posted another strong set of results this year, with many students achieving outstanding grades. Overall, 60.7% of the A Level grades achieved by our students were A*-C grades.

Among the many students celebrating outstanding results was A Level student William who achieved two A*s (in English Language & Literature and Drama & Theatre) and an A in History.

William, who has plans to go travelling and write a book during his year gap year, says one of the highlights of studying with us was the trip to Berlin. He says that he valued the more adult learning environment that the college provides.

Asked for his top tips for success at A Level, William said:

Don’t stop believing in yourself. Talk with teachers during and after lessons and make sure to undertake private study. Surround yourself with a support network of family and friends.”

Fellow A Level student Rosa achieved two A*s (in English Literature and Film Studies) and an A in Fine Art. Rosa is now looking forward to starting a degree in Fine Art at the University of Cambridge.

Donna Howe, Head of A Levels, said:

We are so proud of this year's A Level cohort. Not only did they step up to the academic challenge of A Levels, but the way in which they have shown resilience, determination and motivation after having such a turbulent GCSE journey is inspiring.

So many of our students achieved outstanding individual results, and we are delighted that they have been rewarded with places at some of the most prestigious universities in the country. Congratulations to all our A Level achievers - you did it!”

Not to be outdone, many students on our technical and vocational courses have also achieved top marks and are progressing on to their first choice of university places.

In our art and fashion and performing arts courses, where students work towards the highly respected University of the Arts London qualifications, the ‘class of 2023’ have exceeded recent national averages in multiple subjects.

Particularly impressive results were recorded by students on our UAL Diplomas in Applied General Art & Design, Foundation Art & Design, Fashion Business and Retail, and Music Performance and Production.
