What You Will Study
Want to become an accountant or work in a finance role? The AAT Accounting Qualification is your route to an exciting professional career.
Whether you want to start earning straight away, go on to chartered studies, or set up your own practice, the career options are endless. The AAT Diploma delivers a high level of practical skills, knowledge and effective performance in the workplace and gives progression to AAT full membership and the UK chartered accountancy qualifications.
The AAT's Diploma pathway is competence-based and does not have the workplace evidence requirement of NVQ programmes. It is streamlined and flexible and includes a new Professional Ethics for Accounting Technicians unit; a market-leading innovation much valued by employers.

- Management Accounting
- Principles of Taxation
- Audit and Internal Control
- Advanced Business Awareness
This one-year programme will run on Thursdays from 9am to 3.30pm.
Entry Requirements
- You will need to hold an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
- Working in the area of accountancy is desirable but not essential.
How You Will Be Assessed
Your work will be assessed through a mixture of exams and practical skills tests.
