What You Will Study
This course explores the symbiotic relationship between marketing strategies and social media management. You will delve into fundamental marketing principles, such as market segmentation and consumer behaviour, before examining how social media platforms have transformed traditional marketing channels.
Through practical exercises and case studies, you will learn to craft engaging content, build communities, and optimise campaigns across various social media platforms. By the end of the course, you will develop the skills to strategically leverage social media to enhance brand visibility, engage with your chosen target audiences, and achieve marketing objectives in the digital landscape that you set.
- Week 1 – Introduction to Marketing Principles
- Week 2 – Social Media Landscape and Trends
- Week 3 – Content Creation and Management
- Week 4 – Community Building and Engagement
- Week 5 – Social Media Advertising and Campaign Optimisation
- Week 6 – Analytics and Performance Measurement
This course will run for six weeks on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm.
