What You Will Study
Do you want to take the first step towards a future in managerial and administrative roles? Our T Level in Management and Administration (Business Support) course will arm you with real-world experience and the core knowledge and skills needed to progress into the world of management.
The T Level qualification combines learning in the classroom with gaining ‘on-the-job’ experience. Our two-year business management course will teach you core knowledge in a variety of areas. In the first year, known as the core year, you will gain knowledge in business context, people, finance, project management, change management, business behaviour and quality and compliance. You will undertake different tasks and projects which will help you towards your exams - this will require you to combine your classroom studies and your self-studies to unlock your full potential.
In your second year, you will go on to specialise in business support. You will cover elements in supporting businesses, the running of an organisation, organising and prioritising workload, recommending and delivering improvements to business practices, how to build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and how to manage the business information flow. The key to this is support and developing the behind the scenes elements to business. You will also learn systems to help the business run.
You will also be required to undertake an industry placement for 315 hours - this is 45 days where you will learn your preferred area of business and gain experience from professionals in the workplace. You will undertake the full process, from application to working.
This course is about gaining both academic skills and the industry experience.
