Summary

You will develop an in depth understanding of the technical needs for today’s motor vehicle maintenance and repair industry, starting with the core skills and
developing understanding of the specialist skills required, to include diagnosis of complex faults and advanced systems operations. You will start to explore the latest electric vehicle technology and get lots of practical experience in our industry standard workshops which contain the latest equipment and technology to help you get to where you want to be.

Entry Requirements

General entry requirements for level 3 courses are 5 x GCSEs grade 9-4 to include maths and English.

Progression

Our motor vehicle courses are designed to help you develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours you will need to be successful and progress onto employment or an Apprenticeship. The T level route also opens opportunities for you to progress to Higher Education qualifications.

The College’s close connections with industry ensure that our courses will enable you to take your skills into the workplace, providing you with what you will need to progress to your next step. Students from our courses have progressed on to a wide variety of careers, including automotive technicians and race engineers.

Fees

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over please contact the Advice Shop In addition to this there will be costs for Uniform of steel toe capped boots, trousers and logo shirt.
