Job Description

EXAM INVIGILATOR

Framingham Earl High School has over 100 staff dedicated to providing a First-Class education. The school’s most recent Ofsted in 2014 resulted in a rating of “Good”. GCSE results in 2022 saw the school achieve higher than the national average across a variety of subjects.

THE ROLE
Framingham Earl High School are seeking to appoint a number of Examination Invigilators to ensure that examinations are conducted according to current JCQ regulations.

Invigilators need to be reliable, punctual and able to work to predetermined instructions, with the initiative and flexibility to respond to unexpected situations within the regulations of the examination. They should be able to work well in a team as well as alone.

Invigilation opportunities available include:
• Working with large groups of students.
• Working with individual students; reading (reading part of or all of the examination paper as directed by the candidate) and/ or scribing (writing examination responses as dictated by the candidate).

Applicants should have good availability during the GCSE period from mid-May to mid-June.

Experience is not required as full training will be given.

FTE £20,258 per annum
Pro rata £12.02 per hour, including an allocation for holiday pay
