Hundreds of students from City College Norwich have celebrated their Level 3 achievements, after collecting results in A Levels, T Levels and other vocational qualifications.
Among the highlights were:
- Over 200 T Level students collected their results across the college (City College Norwich and Paston Sixth Form College), with a 96% pass rate, and over 76% of students achieving high grades (Merit and above) compared to 69% nationally.
- Lauren Cook and Grace Liddell-Andrews achieved a Distinction* in the T Level in Education & Early Years (Assisting Teaching). They are two of just 74 students in the country, across all T Level subjects, to have achieved the highest possible grade.
- Extended Diploma students achieved a 99% pass rate, with 57% of students attaining high grades.
- At A Level, 100% pass rates achieved in History, Environmental Science, Biology, Business and Art & Design.
Lucy Whitwood, Principal of City College Norwich, said:
It was fantastic to see so many students returning to collect their Level 3 results today, celebrating successes in A Levels, T Levels and other vocational qualifications.
Among our T Level cohort, we have seen some truly exceptional individual performances, with several students achieving grades that place them amongst the highest performers nationally. 29% of our T Level students achieved a Distinction or Distinction*, compared to 18% of T Level students nationally.
Most importantly, we have seen significant numbers of students achieve their personal ambitions and progress on to their intended next step, whether that be higher education, an apprenticeship, or employment. Congratulations to all of our Level 3 students on your fantastic achievements.”
