What You Will Study
Whether you're a beauty consultant, hairdresser, student, or simply passionate about makeup, this course is designed to give you both the creative skills and business know-how to take your beauty career to the next level. Over 10 weeks, you'll gain practical makeup experience while learning how to launch and manage a successful business in the beauty industry.
Led by an experienced tutor, the course begins by covering essential foundations in hygiene, client care, insurance, and health and safety. You'll then explore skin types and conditions, followed by hands-on sessions in a range of makeup techniques.
At the same time, you’ll develop the core business skills needed to confidently plan and launch your own enterprise. Topics include branding, market research, understanding your competition, identifying your target audience, pricing strategies, financial planning, and promotion.
