Welcome to Mint
MINT is a supported employment provision based at City College Norwich. We work with local employers to support 16- to 25-year-olds, who have a barrier to work, into sustainable paid employment.
Each young person is assigned an employment Job Coach, who provides tailored support and training according to their individual needs. This includes a combination of one-to-one and group training, with a focus on employability skills, Functional Skills Maths and English, as well as help with applying for jobs and interviews.
MINT works with a wide range of employers in Norfolk - including Norse Group, Co-Op East of England, Boots, TG Jones, Royal Mail, Zaks, Bread Source and Norfolk County Council - who offer variable or fixed-term (12 week) work placements or 6-month supported internships.
Each year MINT supports around 70 young people into sustainable paid employment, in a wide variety of sectors.
