Our sessions are friendly, hands-on, and confidence-building, covering essential skills such as CPR, choking, burns, febrile seizures, and everyday emergencies. We are passionate about empowering families and communities with practical, lifesaving knowledge.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, organised Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the growth of Mini First Aid Norfolk’s online presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves social media, enjoys creating eye-catching content, and wants flexible, home-based work.

You will be responsible for designing, writing, and scheduling engaging posts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You’ll help ensure our followers stay informed about first aid tips, local updates, course announcements, and behind-the-scenes insights into the work we do.

Key Responsibilities

Create, design, and schedule social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Produce regular posts on first aid topics, safety tips, seasonal advice, and community updates.

Write short blogs or longer-form posts to help educate and inform our audience.

Promote upcoming Mini First Aid Norfolk courses, workshops, and events.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and professional look across all channels.

Work with the business owner to plan a monthly content calendar.

Stay up to date with social media trends and recommend new ideas to increase reach and visibility.

Keep basic performance records (e.g., post reach, engagement, popular topics).

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Ability to create visually appealing graphics and short videos (experience with Canva or similar tools ideal).

Good writing and communication skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Creativity, especially coming up with new ideas for posts, features, and campaigns.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Basic understanding of first aid topics (training can be provided).

Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite or Buffer.


Salary

£12.50 per hour


Attendance

Completely remote role, no travel required.


Hours

Minimum of 5 hours per week, with potential to increase during busy periods, flexible hours, work around your existing commitments.
