YMCA Norfolk has youth clubs across the county - and we're looking for a dynamic, creative and committed Senior Youth Engagement Worker to help lead the way.

​This is not your average 9–5. You’ll be at the heart of our youth clubs, delivering high-energy sessions, building meaningful relationships with young people, and leading a team of passionate sessional workers. You’ll help shape a programme that’s bursting with creativity, opportunity, and fun – giving young people experiences they might not otherwise have.


You'll also:

​Deliver youth work across multiple sites in Norfolk
Manage and support a team of youth workers and volunteers
Champion youth voice and participation
Use your flair for social media and community outreach to boost engagement
Be a key safeguarding lead and uphold our high standards of care and inclusion

What you’ll need to succeed

​Bags of energy and a genuine love for working with young people
Experience in youth work and team leadership
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A creative mindset and a can-do attitude
A full driving licence and access to your own transport

A Level 3 qualification in youth work (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable, but your passion and experience are what really count.

£14.36 per hour (£10,454.08 per annum)
