We are looking for a talented Pasta Chef to join our kitchen team and bring creativity, skill, and consistency to our pasta offering.
Role Overview
As our Pasta Chef, you will take responsibility for producing exceptional fresh pasta dishes, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency during service. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver menus that celebrate seasonality, flavour, and originality, while maintaining a clean, well-organised, and professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and plate pasta dishes to a consistently high standard.
Make fresh pasta from scratch, including a variety of doughs, shapes, and fillings.
Contribute to menu development, bringing creativity and flair to pasta-based dishes.
Ensure portion control, presentation, and taste align with Yard 6’s standards.
Maintain stock levels, minimise waste, and support ordering processes.
Adhere to food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety standards at all times.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a pasta chef or strong background in Italian cuisine.
Skilled in fresh pasta making and sauce preparation.
Passion for food, seasonality, and high-quality ingredients.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
