Job Description

Position: Social Media & Communications Officer

Pay: £11.11 per hour – Grade D (£12,998.70 per annum)

Location: Hybrid Working – YMCA Norfolk, Aylsham Road, Norwich & Home based

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week

Job Role:

To lead on all social media content design, production and posting across YMCA Norfolk social media channels (including Williams’ Kitchen and Explorers Soft Play) and support YMCA Norfolk through a range of digital communications and media-related tasks to heighten supporter engagement

What you’ll need to succeed:

You will be a confident user of various marketing tools such as Mail Chimp and have proven experience of using Canva. You will have great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with a wide range of staff and external contacts. You’ll need to have super organisation skills, and be excellent at planning and time management, being able to work flexibly and productively with minimal supervision.
