Our Complex Care team in North Walsham are looking for confident and positive people to help our brilliant customers live a fulfilling life in their own home within the local community.

Working collaboratively with your team you will help your customers regulate their emotions through the activities they love to do, providing person-centred care and recognising someone’s past life and experiences to build on their strengths.

You’ll be patient, have a calm disposition, great listening skills as well as remaining assertive and encouraging, displaying the right attitude, energy, and approach. Each customer may display behaviours that challenge.

These behaviours could include learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism and communication differences, alongside ongoing physical health conditions. Where they show distressing behaviours then on occasion physical intervention may be required, however, we will provide you with the training needed to do this safely.

We have an amazing training programme in place to support those with limited experience in this area, as well as some exciting opportunities within Home Group to progress internally, so if you would like to hold your Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or even consider an apprenticeship, we will be happy to support you all the way.

Where and when you’ll work, We are building a brand-new team in North Walsham, as part of a large team we’re flexible in our approach with multiple different working patterns and approach to shifts. Together, with the team you’ll work on a rota basis supporting our customers 24/7.
Our customers are all based within walking distance of North Walsham Train Station and bus stations, and there’s even on-site parking for those who drive. At Home Group we are proud to build our teams with flexibility while we focus on colleague wellbeing to help prevent against burnout etc. It is because of this that we know we will have a shift pattern that works for you."


Salary: £21,000 increasing to £23,000 p.a. (pro rata) after successful probation, plus sleep in enhancements.


Permanent, Flexible hours available (37.5hpw if FT)
