In the interview – which is well worth a listen for any school leaver who is considering nursing as a career – Naomi talks about the benefits of hands-on, practical learning, and the invaluable experience she gained from work placements which are a key element of the BTEC course.
Naomi’s successful transition to her current role at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is all the more inspiring because of the added challenges of COVID-19, which saw the 19-year-old working with COVID-19 patients from the start of the pandemic.
