Former Fine Art student, Lacey Lane, shares how her City College Norwich journey has left an indelible mark, helping her to achieve her dream career in tattoo artistry.
Starting my City College Norwich journey
I studied a BTEC in Fine Art leaving college in 2010.
I have very fond memories of my time at college. I made lasting friendships and developed my confidence and social skills.
I look back on my time at college as the most formative time of my life. My course led me to focus on my love of art, as well as discovering the areas that interest me most.
Following her dream career
I currently work as a Tattoo Artist and Printmaker, which was my career goal. I intend to put a lot of love and work into my career, so I am able to do what I love for the rest of my life.
I aim to continue my work, showcasing at exhibitions and possibly teaching classes.
If I had to sum up my City College Norwich journey in one word, it would be ‘vital’.
