A Level Results Day Frequently Asked Questions
8th August 2017
If you have completed an AS or A2 Level course at City College Norwich this year, you will be able to collect your results from the StartUp Lounge on Thursday 17th August.
We want to make sure that you have all the information you need for the upcoming results day so here are some frequently asked questions to help you prepare.
Please note that this information is for City College Norwich Sixth Form Centre students only.
What time can I pick up my results?
If you are collecting A2 Level results, you can collect them from 8am.
If you are ONLY collecting AS Level results, you can collect them from 10am.
Do I need to bring anything with me when I collect my results?
To collect your results, you will need to bring photographic proof of your identity with you - preferably your student ID card.
Can I get someone to pick up my results for me?
Yes, however you will need to provide them with a signed letter stating that you allow this person to pick up your results on your behalf. Your nominated person will also need to provide photographic proof of their identity.
I won’t be available to collect my results on Thursday 17th August. What should I do?
Any results which have not been collected in person by 2:30pm will be sent out on the same day via First Class post.
Will I be able to speak to someone about my options if my grades are not what I was expecting?
Yes of course. If you have any questions or need help or advice after you have received your results, we will have Sixth Form Centre staff on hand to help you decide on your next steps. More details about this will be given to you when you collect your results.
I am not available to come in to college on A Level results day, will I still be able to speak to someone about my options?
If possible, it is better for you to come into college on A Level results day in order to access advice and guidance on your next steps from your tutor. However in the event that you are not able to come in to college and you would like to speak with someone, you can contact your Sixth Form Centre tutors via phone or email. You can contact Roz Hicks on 01603 773 293 or Rosamund.Hicks@ccn.ac.uk, Donna Howe on 01603 773 209 or Donna.Howe@ccn.ac.uk or Rebecca Blunsden-Ford on 01603 773 261 or Rebecca.Blunsden-Ford@ccn.ac.uk
Please note that Roz, Mel and Luke will be offering an advice and guidance service to all of our Sixth Form Centre students on A Level results day. They will respond to your calls and emails as soon as they can but may not be available straight away.
We wish you the very best of luck with your results and remember, whatever happens, we are here to help.
