Media courses at City College Norwich
Our media courses are will develop and explore your creativity to prepare you for your future career.
What our courses are about
As digital and traditional media become more connected, it is becoming essential to be able to work collaboratively and across disciplines.
We offer a wide range of media courses. This includes 3D design courses, digital media courses, game design courses and creative media production. Our hands-on courses will give you access to industry standard design software. We also have a TV studio, photographic dark room and 3D workshop.
What you will do
You will work collaboratively with students from a range of artistic disciplines to explore and develop your creativity. Each course has a distinct specialism and offers you the chance to meet and work with industry professionals. This will give you an insight into the sector and develop your skills as a practitioner.
You will be responsible for your work from initial conception and client engagement through to presenting a fully realised concept. To give you industry experience, you will work on ‘live’ project briefs with local and national employers. You will have the opportunity to develop links and gain the skills that employers and universities are looking for.
What you can go on to do
Progression to university level study and employment in the industry is one of our major successes. We ensure that you are ready to launch your career in the creative industries by the end of your course.
Our students progress on to some of the most competitive university level courses in the country. This includes Ravensbourne, London College of Communication, Norwich University of the Arts and London School of Fashion.
