Experience the Working World
Through the college’s links to the industry, all health and social care students complete regular relevant industry work placements.
You will need a level 3 qualification in a related subject or proven experience in practice. Above all we expect you to have the commitment and enthusiasm to be successful. All shortlisted applicants are offered an interview. We welcome applications from mature (21+) students who have experience in practice or other suitable qualifications. You will need to be employed or have a voluntary placement for eight hours a week minimum.
Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. For International students we require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading), the required minimum is: IELTS (SELT) 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components).
