T Level: Supporting Healthcare – Adult Nursing Team

You will gain core knowledge in a variety of areas such as health and safety within the sector, health and wellbeing, providing person centred care, science concepts, infection prevention and control, managing personal information and physiological measurements.
You will then go on to specialise in supporting an adult nursing team and study aspects such as guidelines and frameworks for adults, routine clinical tasks, moving and handling adults, activities of daily living, skin physiology and integrity assessments, treatments for skin conditions and the roles of carers in meeting the needs of adults.
As part of this course, you will complete a mandatory “on the job” industry placement (315hrs) with an employer to develop your practical and technical skills.

Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English and Science/Biology at grade 5/C or above.
Assessment will take place through a combination of externally set exams, an employer-set project and endpoint synoptic assessment.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress onto a career in the healthcare industry. You could enter employment or start an Apprenticeship. You can also progress on to university level courses.
