Summary
We have created a bespoke employability support package to support young people on placements via the Kickstart Scheme. The package is split in to 6 different units, with each unit consisting of a presentation and associated worksheets with the young person can work through at their own pace whilst on their job placement. This unit focuses on Interview Preparation and Skills and covers the following aims;
- To understand how and why to prepare for interviews
- To reflect on current skills
- To understand and explore what types of questions may be asked at an interview
- To explore transferable skills
- To understand the use the STAR response when answering questions
This unit will be accessed via our virtual learning environment (VLE) Blackboard, for which the young person will be provided with individual login details.
Please note the course content is available for 6months from date of purchase, to work alongside the timeframe of the 6month employment placement.
