This course is suitable for both for those currently working in an electrical environment, those with an interest in electrical principles and wiring systems or if you are looking to train as an electrician. The City & Guilds 2365 qualification is a current "technical certificate" which is part of an electrician's qualification framework and provides the underpinning knowledge required for NVQ 2 craft level status.
Level 2 Unit includes:
201/501 - Health & Safety in Building Services Engineering
202 - Principles of Electrical Science
203 - Electrical Installation Technology
204 - Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures (Practical Assignment)
210 - Understand how to Communicate in Building Services Engineering
Attendance: 1 evening per week + 22 Saturdays.
No formal entry requirements.
The qualification is assessed at Level 2 by the use of multiple choice (online) examinations, written examinations, practical assessments and a written project.
After successfully completing the course, you could progress onto the City and Guilds 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations

The cost includes City & Guilds registration, practical materials and one attempt at each examination and assessment.
