Award in Colouring and Lightening Hair, Level 2

Practical sessions will help to develop skills covering full-head, re-growth, pulled through and woven high/low lights colour applications, working with temporary, semi-permanent, quasi-permanent, permanent and bleaching products. Theory knowledge acquired will enable you to understand how to consult with clients to select suitable application methods, choose suitable products, work efficiently and safely following health & safety guidelines and to give a high level of aftercare advice. You will be required to complete some homework to aid study. The course will be delivered over a 6 week period on a Tuesday 3.30 - 7.30pm, Wednesday 3.30 - 7.30pm & Saturdays 10.00am - 1pm Please apply to register your interest.
You will possess a Level 2 hairdressing qualification and your own hairdressing kit. You will also be required to supply your own models (a minimum of 4).
Practical assessments will be undertaken on paying clients and must be completed in a commercially acceptable timescale.
No formal progression route.
This course is a full cost course which means that unfortunately there are no reductions in tuition fees if you are unemployed or in receipt of benefits.
