Summary
If you want a career as an accountant, these AAT qualifications will be your essential choice. They are widely recognised and valued, will make you more employable and will give you more options should you choose to progress further.
Modules studied for this widely respected qualification include Advanced Bookkeeping, Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting: Costing, Indirect Tax, Spreadsheets and Ethics.
We will be offering this one year course on Fridays, 9am - 3.30pm.
Entry Requirements
You will need to have achieved the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, City & Guilds bookkeeping level 2 (or similar) or have a working knowledge of double entry book keeping. Working in the area of accountancy is desirable but not essential. It is highly advisable to complete the AAT skillscheck.
Assessment
Assessment will be exam based.
Progression
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you could progress to the AAT Diploma Level 4 in Accounting.

Fees
This course is a full cost course which means that unfortunately there are no reductions in tuition fees if you are unemployed or in receipt of benefits. There will also be an additional cost of £120 for books, a one-off AAT joining fee of £44 (if you are not already registered with AAT) as well as a £94 annual membership fee (as at 2018) .
