Indian Cookery Classes with Giyash Miah - £115

We are delighted to offer this brand new course with chef Giyash Miah, the owner of the fine Indian Dining restaurant, Tamarind. This five week course will give you a taste of the Indian Sub-Continent, where you will learn the true authentic style of traditional Indian Cuisine.
On this course you will use an array of wonderful spices and techniques to create some truly flavoursome food. You will become inspired and confident to create dishes that you thought were not possible at home.
The course content will include the following:
Week 1 - Dips, Salads and Bread - Tamarind Dip, Mint Dip, Onion Salad, Bread, Chapatti bread, Poppodoms/Spiced Poppodoms
Week 2 - Chicken Bhuna, Tarka Dahl and Pilau Rice
Week 3 - Spice Blends, Tandoori Marinades and Lamb Biriyani
Week 4 - Vegetable Kadai and Sea Bass with Aubergine
Week 5 - Indian Feast - showcasing a selection of dishes from previous weeks , including rice dishes, Chicken Bhuna, dips and salad, chapatti and Paratha breads
In addition to the above Giyash will be demonstrating how to make onion bhajis, the classic south east asian snack which is now a firm favourite of the western palate.
Each week you will be asked to bring in an ingredient.
