Kickstart - Communication Skills and Teamwork - From £75

Summary

We have created a bespoke employability support package to support young people on placements via the Kickstart Scheme. The package is split in to 6 different units, with each unit consisting of a presentation and associated worksheets which the young person can work through at their own pace whilst on their job placement. This unit focuses on Communication Skills and Teamwork and covers the following aims;

• To explore the meaning of communication and the different types of communication
• To explore verbal and non-verbal communication and understand the communication cycle
• To gain an understanding of effective listening, questioning and written communication
• To explore why teamwork is important in employment

This unit will be accessed via our virtual learning environment (VLE) Blackboard, for which the young person will be provided with individual login details.
Please note the course content is available for 6 months from date of purchase to work alongside the timeframe of the 6 month employment placement.
