Access to Higher Education courses are an ideal starting point that can help you develop the skills and qualifications to progress to studying for a degree and your future career. Access courses are a flexible alternative to A Levels and are a recognised qualification for Degree and Higher Education courses.

All courses have been developed with employers and progression in mind, and many are part of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership’s 10 priority sectors.
This means that you will be provided with the skills and qualifications needed to progress to further study and gain employment in growing industries.
Am I eligible to study?
To study an Access to Higher Education course you need to meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19+
- Have a Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths
For international students who don’t have GCSE English an IELTS (SELT) 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in all components) is acceptable.
