Summary
The City , Guilds Introduction to Trainer Skills (7300) provides participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training. It is an intensive course, delivered over 2 days (or 1 day and 2 half days) .
Courses run throughout the year, October, February 2020, June 2020, but can also accommodate bespoke delivery options to businesses who have multiple numbers requiring training.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course although this course is designed for those who train others in organisations.
Learning Outcomes
The course is based on the training cycle, covering:
Planning (including session planning)
delivery
evaluation (self, peer and course evaluation)
the course also covers setting ground rules, use of ice breakers, the learning environment, training resources, gaining and maintaining attention, motivation and assessment.
Assessment
Each participant must deliver a 10 - 15 minute training session and take a multiple choice quiz at the end of the course.
Progression
Candidates may wish to consider progressing to our 13 week City , Guilds Level 3 Award in Education , Training
Career Progression
This qualification is designed to support candidates who are in or moving into a role where they train others in the organisation.
