Unionlearn learndirect courses

Due to contractual and funding changes (that are beyond the control of the College and unionlearn) learndirect programmes will no longer be offered by the centre.

This does not affect other training and learning programmes at the Trade Union Learning Centre (the centre will remain open) but it will no longer offer Maths and English, ICT and ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) through learndirect.

Funding for current learndirect learners will cease at the end of 2011, which means all learners will need to have completed their learning by the 16th December 2011. It is vital that learners complete their learning at this time because learndirect will not support learning after this date and access to learning will end.

We are committed to union learning and are currently exploring other learning opportunities and will update you shortly.

Through our Union Learning Fund Project, the centre will continue to offer the following:

• Online Basics through UK Online Go ON
• Maths and English taught sessions in the workplace
• Informal ICT Sessions
• Information on other learning opportunities with City College Norwich
• Support to Unions on learning matters
• Support to ULRs
