Celebrate the end of the academic year in style at the City College Norwich Summer Ball at Sprowston Manor on Friday 2nd July from 8pm – 1am (with the exclusive after party continuing at Po Na Na's until 3am).

The evening will start with a red carpet arrival to a buffet reception where you’ll have a chance to have a professional photograph taken with your friends.  A live band will greet your arrival to Sprowston Manor’s stylish and exquisitely decorated Norfolk Marquee which is surrounded by acres of parkland.

City College Norwich will be holding a breakfast awards event in The Forum on Wednesday 23 June to recognise and celebrate the role played by employers in supporting vocational success.  The event is being held as part of national Vocational Qualifications (VQ) Day.

VQ Day is a UK-wide celebration of the people who gain vocational qualifications every year.  Now in its third year, VQ Day aims to raise the stature and demonstrate the benefits of practical and vocational qualifications to future learners, employers, opinion formers and the wider public.

"The Final Cut" - showing at Fusion in the Forum

The Final Cut is a 15-minute film on a loop at Fusion in The Forum, being screened there from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m every day until Saturday 29th May. It features images and film footage taken by CCN National Diploma Media Production students in collaboration with the Norfolk & Norwich Festival and students from Future Projects. Well worth viewing if anyone's in the city & needs a short break from retail therapy and/or other cultural pursuits!

A classical double bill Wild Thing is a modern adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew, which is a comedy about marriage and love. The main plot depicts the courtship of Petruchio, a gentleman of Verona, and Katherina, the headstrong, obdurate shrew. The sub-plot features a competition between the suitors of Katherina's more tractable sister, Bianca.

La Ronde also follows the love theme It scrutinizes the sexual morals and class ideology of its day through a series of encounters between pairs of characters

First Diploma in Performing Arts Acting and Dance students, who together make up Thirst Productions and Bodyshock Dance, proudly present the classic musical Guys and Dolls.

Guys and Dolls is a tale about what happens to gambling men and the women who long to tame them. Set in the colourful world of mid 20th century New York, the romantic and funny Guys and Dolls is populated with gangsters and gamblers, showgirls and missionary dolls.

Students who will soon be graduating after completing the Foundation Degree in Arts and Wellbeing will be running a free printmaking workshop at Salthouse Church, using the beautiful North Norfolk coastal setting to show people how to create a mono-print.
