Student Newsletter - City College Norwich

Student Newsletter

November 2011

I hope that you had a good break during half-term and are looking forward to a busy and exciting couple of months ahead in the run up to Christmas.

You now have your Students' Union representatives in place (see below) and should also have chosen your School Reps. Do make use of both the Students' Union and your School Reps, as the Student Voice is at the heart of everything we do at City College Norwich.  We rely on student representatives to provide feedback on what we are doing well, and also the areas where we need to improve, to give you the best possible experience.

Later this month we will be opening our new Enterprise Zone on the first floor of the Blakeney Building. This is a really exciting development that will open up lots of new opportunities for you - everything from enterprise challenges, to advice and support on how to start up your own small business, to getting involved in social enterprises, to help with job interviews and opportunities to meet employers.

Look out for much more on the Enterprise Zone very soon.

Dick Palmer
Principal

The results of the recent elections held for various posts in the Students' Union have now been confirmed, and are listed in full on Blackboard on the Election 2011 page.

Thank you everyone who took the trouble to vote. We hope that you will continue to be involved with supporting your student representatives throughout the year.
