There is still time to Get Yourself Sorted! Courses are available.

City College Norwich has good news for anyone who is thinking about coming to college this September – there are still places available on some of our courses.  Young people and adults have the opportunity to find out about further and higher education options during the Get Yourself Sorted days on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th September.  

The aim of the Get Yourself Sorted days, which are repeated during the second and third weeks of September, is to offer advice and guidance for anyone who wants to see what places the college still has available or are still unsure of what they want to do.  Prospective students are invited to drop in to the College’s Advice Shop between 10am and 4pm on Friday 3rd and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 4th September. 

Individuals can receive one to one advice and guidance, talk about their future aspirations or they can meet with an academic member of staff to help them make the decision that is right for them. There is also a chance for students to enrol on a course where there are still places left. 

While some courses are now fully subscribed, there are still places across all of the Schools within the college, spanning Business and Computing, Creative Arts, Foundation Studies, Hair and Beauty Therapy Industries, Health, Social Care and Early Education, the Hotel School, Lifelong Learning, Technology and Sport and the college’s Sixth Form Centre.  

Dick Palmer, Principal, City College Norwich, said: “We have seen record numbers of applicants this year, with more and more people choosing to improve their skills with City College Norwich.  The great news for anyone who is still undecided about their next step is that we still have places available, so come and talk to us about what your college can offer you.”    

Get Yourself Sorted Days are running at the college’s main Ipswich Road campus on the following dates and times:

Friday 3rd September  10am – 4 pm
Saturday 4th September  10am – 1 pm

Thursday 9th September  10am – 4 pm
Friday 10th September  10am – 4 pm

Thursday 16th September  10am – 4 pm
Friday 17th September  10am – 4 pm
