The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at City College Norwich

City College Norwich is proud to be a key institution in The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.

The Academy was founded by Peter Jones CBE in 2008 to nurture young entrepreneurial talent through further education, where young people can develop their business skills with the aim of setting up their own businesses.

Offering the BTEC level 2 Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship along with the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. The Enterprise Academy is the brainchild of Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones, who had a vision to create a centre of excellence for developing enterprise skills. Peter’s vision was to shift the boardroom into the classroom and equip the future generation of entrepreneurs with the skills and confidence to aim higher.

City College Norwich offers the Level 3 Diploma in Business with Enterprise which includes the Subsidiary Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (details here), which focus on developing and furthering the aspirations and skills of young entrepreneurs.

The Academy gives students the opportunity to work extremely closely with business professionals from a range of industries so that they can gain expert advice from leading entrepreneurs and discover their entrepreneurial journeys, carry out work placements in industry, and receive guidance in areas such as sales, marketing, brand management, product pitches and finance.
