Apprenticeship Grant at City College Norwich
The Apprenticeship Grant for Employers 16 to 24 is aimed at helping eligible employers to offer young people employment through the Apprenticeship programme.
The National Apprenticeship Service will provide a limited number of Apprenticeship grants to encourage small-medium sized employers to recruit an apprentice for the first time.*
The Apprenticeship grant has a value of £1,500. This is in addition to the training costs of the Apprenticeship Framework, which is met in full for young people aged 16 - 18 and with an employer controbution for those aged 19 - 24.
The payment is a grant and is exempt from VAT.
Up to 3 grants per employer (Subject to availability)
*Not eligible if the employer employs an apprentice with an Individual Learning Record (ILR) start date 2009 or after.
