HE Graduation
Date:
16/10/2009 - 11:00pm

Next month around seven hundred students will graduate with Degrees and other Higher Education qualifications from City College Norwich, which is holding its annual Graduation Ceremony at Norwich Cathedral today, Saturday 17th October. City College Norwich is an Associate College of the University of East Anglia, and this will be the second year that all of the Degrees awarded will be UEA Degrees.

There will be two ceremonies in order to accommodate the large number of graduates and their guests. The morning ceremony will commence at 11.15am and the afternoon ceremony at 2.30pm.

Dick Palmer, the Principal of City College Norwich, said, “I want to congratulate each and every one of our students graduating today on their outstanding achievements and their hard work. What could be more fitting than to receive their awards before their families and friends in this wonderful setting of the Cathedral, at the very heart of the city and the county. Today is our first Graduation where all the Degrees awarded will be UEA Degrees. Our new graduates embody the partnership that we now have with the university, to the huge benefit of local people, employers and the local economy."
