Apprenticeship Week

During Apprenticeship Week at City College Norwich, Employer Partnerships will be offering employers, potential apprentices and parents the opportunity to meet the experts and:

  • Find out how apprenticeships can benefit business
  • Find out what employers want from apprentices
  • Find out how training as an apprentice can lead to a successful career

The events will take place at St Andrew’s House, Norwich on Thursday 10th February.  We have employers from across a range of industry sectors who will be sharing their experiences via short presentations followed by the chance to meet them on a one-to-one basis.

Morning event  - 10 am - ‘A Day in the Life of an Apprentice’ – a range of employers sharing their experiences of how employing an apprentice has worked for them – together with their apprentices who will share how the process has helped them train for a successful career in their chosen field.

Afternoon - 1pm - ’Where Are They Now?’ – a selection of successful business men and women sharing how their experience as an apprentice has shaped their careers.

Employer Partnerships Consultants will be available throughout the day to help employers and those interested in apprenticeships.
