The IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) Level 3 Diploma covers the technical needs for today’s motor repair industry, including diagnosis of complex faults and advanced systems operations.
Entry Requirements:
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair IMI Certificate Level 2 and a selection inteview.
Assessment:
To successfully complete this course you will need to successfully complete a number of practical assessments and online knowledge assessments. Your time at College will be divided into 60% classroom delivery and 40% practical/workshop activities.
Academic Progression:
Higher education such as the Mechanical Engineering BTEC HND.
Career Progression:
An apprenticeship with an employer.
Full Description:
You will gain the essential knowledge needed by today’s service technician. This qualification will satisfy the essential knowledge requirements for NVQ level 3.

- Diagnosis and Rectification of Chassis System Faults
- Diagnosis and Rectification of Auxiliary Equipment Electrical
