Course Description:
The Society, Health and Development Higher Diploma is an ideal course for you if you are interested in society, health and development and would like to explore your opportunities within these important sectors. The Higher Diploma develops your understanding of the values and principles of different organisations and how these are applied in everyday work. The Diploma will help you learn the personal skills that are important to work successfully in these areas, such as team-working, problem solving and good communication skills. You will get the chance to learn in different settings, work with your fellow students and meet employers and specialists in your field of interest. During the course, you will also be able to do at least ten days work experience, which is a great way to apply what you have learnt in a working environment.
