VRQs are broken down into Craft and Non - Craft units. The non - units are assessed by the completion of assignments requiring personal research.

Hairdressing VRQ Level two or employment with training

Full Description: 

This course provides vocational learning as an introduction to the hair sector. This is ideally for those applicants who may have not achieved GCSE results that might otherwise have given them entry onto a higher level course, but who would still be interested in a possible career in hairdressing.

This exciting new series of quilifications will offer you an entry point at a level which best suits your ability and will develop the learning skills to progress in the industry.

Subjects include:

  • Presenting a professional image
  • Shampoo and conditioning hair
  • Basic hair plaiting and twisting
  • styling for women
  • Customer service
  • Reception duties
