Entry Requirements: 

No qualifications needed.  You will need to attend an interview.

Assessment: 

City & Guilds Certificate in ESOL (English)

City & Guilds Certificate in Numeracy (Maths)
 

Academic Progression: 

The course is entry level with progression to Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
 

Career Progression: 

ESOL helps you to decide your future study or job.

Full Description: 

You will study English using many different topics including health, education, law, transport, shopping, getting a job, using the library  etc.  You will also study Citizenship and about living in the UK.

The course improves your study skills, grammar, IT (computers) and numeracy (maths)

At the end of the course you can do the City & Guilds examination which tests all the four skills and you will be able to move on to the next level if you are successful.

Group A will include voluntary activities and skills development.

Group B will include Entry 3 Workskills, focussing on employability. For example, job interviews, health & safety, managing your money, teamwork etc.
