The Level 2 Engineering Diploma is an ideal course for you if you are interested in engineering and would like to explore your opportunities within this innovation-led industry. It will develop your understanding of the engineering world, the different sectors and how they impact on our lives and you will learn about the key engineering principles.
Three GCSEs including Maths at grade C or above with English and another subject related to engineering at grade D or above.
Mainly marked assignments but formal examinations in some units.
The Level 2 Engineering Diploma is designed to keep your options open; it could lead to Engineering Level 3 Extended Diploma, another Level 3 Diploma course, or to an Apprenticeship with an employer.
During the programme you will find out about a wide range of careers available within the engineering industry to help you plan for the future. You could seek work in a variety of different engineering settings ranging from maintenance to design and development.
